Have stock 21s on r1t. Going to aftermarket 20s. Went to Costco and purchased 275/60r20 with them. They were good with the order, but did ask why not the 275/65. Good conversation with them. First time buying tires at Costco as I usually get my tires from a great local shop.
Rotation is free...
On large temp swings between days, the nitrogen filled tires were less impacted by the temp swings (pressure consistency). I've never paid for nitrogen and never would as the better rolling resistance and less degradation claims are unfounded.
Maybe this was already factored in, but the air suspension is adjusted quite frequently without kneel mode (with normal use and driving). In colder weather, many experience an increase in the adjustments. Extrapolate any additional adjustments with kneel mode for concerns. However, some have...
Voltage is unknown without the Wh also supplied.
If 1280 Wh and 100Ah, it'd be 12V.
5120 Wh and 100Ah, it'd be 48V.
Given the size of the space, the voltage would most likely be in the single digits to achieve 100Ah; the size available could probably fit a 12V 20Ah battery with BMS.
Thanks. I meant AW10 not 01 - which would make AW10 VS AW09 as 20x9 + 40 offset VS 20x8.5 + 48 offset respectively. However, I can apply what you shared above accordingly. Guess it is just a design tradeoff for weight, milling, etc.
Neither. Ran 6 awg copper THHN off a 60amp breaker to a 14-50 and use the Rivian portable charger at 32 amps. Have the ability to easily upgrade or hardwire, but haven't needed the extra miles per hour of charge. Do what meets your driving habits and spend as little or as much money as you want.
I have had this happen to me about twice in 18ish months of ownership. Probably twice this year and not prior.
I am unable to determine what I did to be able to repeatedly replicate it. Not a seatbelt item or slightly ajar door issue as far as I can tell.
Each time I experienced it, I still...
Going to use local numbers for tires and try some math.
I am assuming I am at 20000 miles and my stock 21 pirelli need to be replaced.
I will assume 20k miles is the life of the pirellis.
I will assume 30k miles is the life of the Michelin Defender m/s2.
Costs are $485 installed per pirelli...
Appreciate the math. Helps a lot.
Total cost for new TPMS, new forged 20" rims, and new defender 2s mounted and shipped is closer to 3500 for me right now VS the 4500 shared.
Math changes slightly in that scenario.
I'm at 8500 miles with no conserve right now. I am planning to rotate soon...
Can you share your math and what your view on too long is?
Curious if you used the pirellis lasting about 15k miles and the Michelin Defender 2s lasting about 50k miles?
