I just remounted my Comma after taking it down to have a windshield tint installed, and I miscalculated slightly when placing the bracket. Fortunately, once I pulled off the plastic cover for the electronics behind the mirror I was able to actually get the Comma onto the mount and just barely...
Fair. I could also see them making the full functionality require C+, simply because it’s got to be a fairly massive cost for them to develop, maintain, and host this feature. LLMs are not cheap, any AI you’re using right now is losing money on you.
In the demo it was made explicit that Assistant runs in two different ways: locally on your vehicle’s hardware for simple things like climate control, and remotely on a larger, more capable model for more complex behaviors. The second mode is clearly going to require Connect+, there just isn’t...
It was in my truck bed! It clipped right back into place, without an issue. So I do have all 50, and would now say there are no problems with the four aero covers.
I just hosed them off to get a better look. They’re all in good shape. I didn’t notice any damage or flaws in the appearance on the outside, and they all have their center logo piece.
The clips are all in good shape, however I did notice that one single metal spring piece is missing. I’ll take...
I do currently still have all four aero covers, and I’ll actually be heading down to Fairfax this weekend, so I can bring them along if you might be interested.
I do still have one. The overall condition is good, just worn. There’s about 6/32” left of the tread, so it’s not something you want to put a ton of miles on, but should make a good spare. No punctures, or anything.
Sure, totally. I’ll do the same, and pay for a month of Tesla membership if I know I’m going to have to use Tesla at least twice during the month. Though since IONNA has started spreading, I’ve rarely had to actually do that. I use their chargers in Kansas fairly often.
All else being equal...
I have a Comma 3X with the basic harness (Rivian A). It sounds like in order to get angle-based steering, I’ll need to upgrade to a Comma 4 as well as install a new harness? I assume the longitudinal upgrade is still required for the Comma to take over longitudinal control? Or does the new...
The Grizzl-e mini doesn’t have pigtails. It just has a 14-50 plug, and comes with a number of adapters. (I don’t recall if the TT-30 adapter came with it, or if I had to order it separately.) so if you use an adapter for a lower amperage socket, you need to manually adjust the max amperage it...
I’ve got a Grizzl-e mini, or whatever they call it, which came with a bunch of adapters, including the TT-30.
The main thing is to make sure you adjust your max amperage if you’re using an adapter, so you don’t try and pull 50A from a 30A circuit.
