Let me know! One’s already sold, and another is hopefully about to. I’ll keep this thread updated as any more sell. Looks like you’re in PA? I’d be willing to meet you part way, if there’s a spot that’s convenient to us both.
I’ve gotten a ton of positive responses to it and questions about it from other Rivian owners, and even people driving ICE trucks (huh, that’s a bit loaded now…). When I was just in the Glen Burnie, MD service center, all the guys there like it, too, and expressed surprise that they’d shut down...
Well, it hardly seems to matter, as the Wakeshield website has been offline for a while, so I'm guessing they're gone for good now, but as I just put a new set of tires on my R1T, I figured I might as well post the efficiency graphs I got before and after installing the Wakeshielf on the...
Right, so the answer is: it depends. What temperature you're starting at, how far/long it will take to get to the charger, how much of a charge you need, how much time you can/must spend once you get there. If you're in a hurry, a warm battery absolutely makes a difference, but if you're...
It’s definitely worth it, in the right conditions. We usually spend the winter in New Mexico, where we have a home charger, but this winter were in Baltimore where we don’t, and it was a ridiculously uncharacteristically cold winter. I rarely saw my battery temperature get above 20°, even with...
Well, that’s now @Box15 and @Calientecarros both interested in a single wheel/tire, so I think if nobody wants to make an offer on all four by Wednesday, I’ll start selling them off one by one!
I’d prefer to sell them as a set, but I’m not opposed to selling them one at a time if there’s not much interest in the set. Maybe if there’s no takers in another week?
I just replaced my wheels and tires with 20", so I have the original 21" set to sell. The tires have about 43,000 miles on them, and < 6/32" of tread left (all four measured at either 6/32 or 7/32 in May, and I've been driving on them since). I'm happy to deliver to anyone near Baltimore, or...
Seeing as you’re specifically seeing abnormal behavior with the turn signal, it sounds like there’s a good chance there’s damage to the wiring or other electrical components. Introducing liquid from a leaking washer fluid reservoir could have created a short circuit that damaged the battery, and...
Finally actually left the house today… didn’t need navigation, but remembered to try it out anyway. Looks like a soft reset resolved my problem, or possibly ruined my physics-defying perpetual motion Rivian.
I didn’t notice until today, but I assume it’s since installing the update. When driving with navigation on, it consistently says that I’ll arrive with a higher state of charge than I currently have. The attached photo was obviously taken towards the end of the drive, but it did the same on my...
If you need to have HW4 to be able to experience it, doesn’t that disprove your whole point that they’ll be able to flip a switch and suddenly it will work on older cars with older, less capable hardware?
I think it’s happened to me maybe once? They don’t close with a lot of force, and you can just pull them out manually pretty easily, but then I don’t have 6yo hands (any more).
As retracting door handle designs go, I think Rivian’s are some of the better ones, but there’s still obviously some...
