I've noticed this with my dual motor as well for sure. Both the acceleration and regen more consistently use both motors at any speed, whereas in all purpose the acceleration tends to use both motors at low speeds but only the front motor at higher speeds. Mine is a perf dual motor, but I'm not...
I recently installed the DCE rock sliders. The trick that worked for me with the TP55 bolts was pushing up on the wrench directly underneath the bolt with the base of my palm, while wedging the rest of my forearm underneath it until my elbow and upper arm are pushing up on the ground. I wedge it...
Thank you @DCE .
Can you also confirm that the torque settings are 95 and 55 ft-lbs (and not N-m)?
The settings feel high (though I’m clearly not an expert).
I got the one from SmartLiner and have been happy. I like that it’s shipped rolled up instead of folded. I unrolled it and kept it inside for a day and it was basically flat. It’s a pretty snug fit. When you try to open the spare tire compartment you have to fold it in from the sides a bit to...
Installed the DCE Rock Sliders today on my R1T (2023 VIN 26XXX).
Some notes/tip/questions:
I only had a 1/4" M18 Milwaukee impact driver, which was definitely not powerful enough to remove the TP55 bolts. It was fine for all the torx and hex bolts. For the TP55 bolts, I initially used a...
Which version of the software do you have? There is possibly a fix for this in 2023.50.1, according to the release notes:
Improved Auto-Hold Performance For Snow Mode
Improved the consistency and the performance of auto-hold in snow and grade conditions.

After the update, It is much nicer reversing out of my garage, or backing into a parking spot. The truck no longer lurches at the slightest touch of the accelerator. Everything feels just much smoother.
Thanks, those are good examples and based on them, I agree that the power gauge is clearly not displaying simple acceleration/deceleration rates.
I assume then the blue line is closer to "power output" given the name of the gauge, and depending on the actual physical situation, gets combined...
I did a PDF compare of the R1T owner's guide from before and after this update, and here are my findings.
(Note: this was not super straightforward because there was some reorganization of the owner's guide. For instance, there is a new accessories chapter that pulled smaller sections from...
I also get the 2-3 hrs sleep and 1 hr idle cycle in ElectraFi. We’re in New England. I wonder if that is the truck waking up to keep the battery temperature in check?
When I did my state inspection in MA they didn’t require lifting the vehicle. Maybe because the truck was new at the time. I went to Two Guys Garage in Lowell though, so about 45 min north of downtown Boston.
Disclaimer: there’s a few things I do like about the cyber truck and I hope Rivian can adopt without compromising what makes Rivian’s architecture so unique and awesome.
But I had to share this because it made me laugh out loud. On a podcast I was listening to, they said the cyber truck...
For the last couple of releases, I had been doing a PDF compare of the owner's guides for the R1T that correspond to the previous and new software versions. I wish Rivian would just highlight any changes, but since they don't, I do this, and usually learn something. This time I figured I would...
When a battery capacity is reported as 100 Ah, what voltage is that at?
For portable phone chargers seems like they always report mAh or Ah @ 5V.
Is it assumed to the same for something like this?
