Legacy auto is reluctant to outsource any more software. They've been burned. AA/CP gives tech companies access and control of valuable data and control of the car.

My Teslas have automatic open/close. Seems like a no brainer. I never have to press any buttons. Garage door opens when I pull into the driveway and closes as I leave.

My solar PV system paid for itself in 6 years. I now have free electricity. Net metering allows me to use the grid for free storage until I need the power. I don't get paid for yearly excess but come out about even.
The dual switches off the rear motor automatically when it's not needed and on when needed.
The quad in conserve switches off the rear motors but they don't come back on when you need the extra power.
