...ironically, i get in the truck this afternoon to drive home and.... no music. I can play/ pause, increase the volume, change sources and visually it all seems to be working. However, no sound. So I pulled over, did a info reset and kept going. Music came back.
I sure hope they didn't spend a lot of time and resources on the "drive mode animations". Whoop-de-friggin-do.
This is an advertised "upgrade" but they slip in automatically reverting suspension height to Auto "feature" without mentioning it?
I use TuneIn primarily and the app is pretty lousy. It has very few settings, doesn't automatically start playing again when interrupted by phone, etc and lately (update) has been dropping out excessively.
Spotify performs slightly better, but lacks SO many features. It's downright dangerous to...
I also sent customer service a complaint email. I got a somewhat personalized canned response. I think everyone should start sending those so they know this is a "feature" nobody wants. I hate it.
A lot of people on here also believe that the lower ride height increases uneven wear on the tires. The suspension is "dialed in" in Standard height. So when you lower it, you are cambering the tires.
Dunno if that's true, but I only use low mode when I'm ripping through windy mountain roads...
I coulda' helped you around Ned, but unfortunately Idaho Springs is one of the areas I'm not terribly familiar with. That's an "on the way to somewhere else" town for me. I know Floyd Hill is pretty popular. Good luck, have fun!
I coincidentally got almost all of the above on this same journey, though a shorter coiled hose. My take? It's not worth it. That Jaco adapter is cool, but it's always on. So you need to put a "gun" on it before the adapter to stop air from just always flowing out.
I also thought it would be...
Mine has gone out for seemingly no apparent reason randomly as well. The 1st time I noticed it was when I came back to my truck to notice its first major door ding. I got in to ask Gary what happened and apparently he was asleep at the time.
I don't feel like you should have to change your settings every time you drive. The truck should hold your preferences.
Sell the vehicle with those settings on and therefore comply with the EPA. Then allow them to be turned off and held at user preference.
I'm seeing this too (after you pointed it out and I paid attention). That's crap. I don't want auto on most of the time and I don't want to have to turn it off every time I get back in the truck. The truck should retain my settings/ preferences every time.
The Autel charger (and I'm sure many others) can print you out a monthly (or whatever) charging report. It puts it out in .CSV form, so you can use a spreadsheet and manipulate whatever info you need to see/ not see. I use this to write off my charging for the R1T the company paid for.
I sure hope they do some work on the apps before charging money for them. No way I'm paying to use the TuneIn app as it currently works. It's terrible. Sounds like Tidal is just as bad.
I'm also really hoping for some form of USB music connectivity. The only non-streaming option now is...
I disagree. It seems that the music situation is not that important to you, but if you look at multiple other threads from the past, it is clearly an issue for a lot of other people. The current non-streaming music option, in a vehicle that is marketed as an "adventure vehicle" (AKA get away...
