I would be okay with adding it to my phone plan like tethering is now. Then, you get a set amount of high speed data each month, and it reduces to dial-up speed after that.

I think the OP is looking to take a calculated risk based on the information they can gather and the "wisdom of crowds".
In other words, the question is: "What are the risks I'm taking?" and not "Tell me why I shouldn't."

I wonder if 20/21 or R1S/T will make a difference? I'm a lead foot so I have to charge more frequently. But with ICE vehicles, tire wear has never been an issue with regular tire rotation ?.
