  1. Rivian Leasing Expands to New States (March 2024)

I already have my R1S, but still don't like not seeing Wisconsin on the list. ?
  2. YET ANOTHER 12V battery fail thread

I just think it would be such an easy fix to engineer a monitoring solution for the battery with an indicator when the battery reached a certain threshold. I'm not an engineer, but my younger brother won a mortal combat trophy when he was 10.
  3. What R2 Colors are you all excited to see?

I'm hoping they finally adopt a snow, baby powder, cotton or something in the ghost/storm trooper family.
  4. Four Electric Pickup Trucks Drove Coast-To-Coast. Here's How They Stack Up

I remember seeing this at the movies ?.
  5. Four Electric Pickup Trucks Drove Coast-To-Coast. Here's How They Stack Up

Life is about either winning or telling a better story ?.
  6. Four Electric Pickup Trucks Drove Coast-To-Coast. Here's How They Stack Up

Four Electric Pickup Trucks Drove Coast-To-Coast. Here's How They Stack Up 1. **EV Truck Race Overview:** The Out of Spec Motoring YouTube channel organized a coast-to-coast race from Florida to California featuring four electric pickup trucks: Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevy Silverado...
  7. Home Charger recommendation?

We had you use EV Juicenet to be a part of a pilot with the electric company in Wisconsin. You may want to check with local incentives before purchasing one. We get a $0.12/kw discount by using it so the difference can be significant.
  8. 2024.11.00 update?

Not to start rumors but my unofficial source with no relation to Rivian or reality says we're getting an "ultra" update that addresses your individual pet peeve with the R1. It's truly a game changer, but don't tell anyone.
  9. Supercharging Non-Teslas Without Being An EV-Hole - CleanTechnica

Supercharging Non-Teslas Without Being An EV-Hole Jennifer Sensiba When I first heard that Ford had released adapters and opened access to the Supercharger network, I noticed some people getting angry about that. Supercharger stations have long been designed to reach the port at the...
  10. Off-Road settings experience (for Dual Motor R1)

? Wasn't a big enough support for this post. I'm seriously interested in taking Evy out on some trails but honestly don't know what's a smart (or stupid) way to use it for what it was made (other than 0-60 in 3.5 seconds). Your post totally makes sense and further reinforces the awesomeness of...
  11. Can we stop asking for CarPlay now? "The next generation of Apple CarPlay will take over all of the screens, sensors and gauges in a car..."

I don't have a horse in the race so I didn't want to force anything. But, I am an entrepreneur and I understand the impact of open competition. Monopolies aren't good for innovation. This is why there are laws against it. As I've previously stated, Apple wouldn't exist if Microsoft wasn't forced...
  12. Can we stop asking for CarPlay now? "The next generation of Apple CarPlay will take over all of the screens, sensors and gauges in a car..."

That actually makes their case. Apple is the dominate/closed system. Android doesn't intentionally send degraded messages. There's a universal RCS protocol that allows anyone to communicate with rich messaging. Apple intentionally won't adopt it to stay dominant. Therefore, it's monopolistic.
  13. Can we stop asking for CarPlay now? "The next generation of Apple CarPlay will take over all of the screens, sensors and gauges in a car..."

Lol, I guess electricity isn't a necessity either. However, the Mac OS wouldn't exist if Microsoft wasn't forced to invest in Apple in order to avoid indictment. Windows a monopoly and was going to wipe Apple out.
  14. Can we stop asking for CarPlay now? "The next generation of Apple CarPlay will take over all of the screens, sensors and gauges in a car..."

That was a totally different issue. The new AGs aren't litigating that case. This is a rare bipartisan issue. I'm a Pixel/Windows user, but both Google and Microsoft are monopolists in their own right. Competition is good for everyone (even the losers).
