I've towed our 25ft airstream a few times, love how it handles. But what I struggle with is visibility. What do you all use for tow mirrors, if anything ?
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I spent two hours yelling at Apple yesterday for their BS process to get set up, never did get it. I'll live vicariously through others here on how great my audio could be.
I appreciate all the positive comments here about towing the airstream. I have an international 25 and have done a few short trips, but looking forward to some longer trips. I'm looking forward to getting the Tesla adapter. There are still some charging deserts I don't think I can cross like...
I wish someone would invent a tow dolly of some sort that goes between the truck and trailer that has the extra battery capacity. I don't need to haul that extra battery around all the time and when not towing I could use for backup power for my home.
I wonder what the blended braking will do while towing. I have seen regen limited going down a long grade with the trailer. I wouldn't want the truck to just apply brakes without applying the trailer brakes at the same level.
Thanks all, I appreciate the conversation. I think you all confirmed what I was thinking, this little extinguisher isn't going to do anything. We don't have a smoke detector or heat sensor right now, but will get one ASAP.
Curious to hear what others think about this.
My neighbor's house burned down Wednesday (yes, related to turkey cooker, but he wasn't cooking yet and I suspect there was some faulty connections that led to this tragedy, and everyone is fine). He had two ICE vehicles in the garage where the...
Rivian says in their manual to use a WDH of the trailer is over 5000 lbs. I use a blue ox for my trailer. Luckily the Rivian and my F350 hitch hight are close enough I don't need to move the hitch when swapping vehicles.
Me too! I hold my breath every time I open or close it. It pops and clicks and makes all kinds of scary noises. I have to push it while it opens to get it to open all the way. I wish it worked better.
I asked an AI internet tool what I should name it, it suggested something related to nature or feature close to where I live. I live in Reno with the Truckee river flowing though it so I named the R1T "Truck-e".
I'm the same way, I figure Google already knows everything about me, I don't need to share that with Amazon too. Although I'm sure they have a pretty good amount of data on me even with Alexa.
This is the same one as me but with the large. It is great and my anxious lab loves it. I have the hose off version and it is due for a hose off. Got this one because she's a lab and has a 5-mile water/mud detector.
I'm surprised it's taken this long for businesses to figure out that a bunch of rich EV drivers need a place to kill 30 minutes with their disposable income. Hopefully more to come. And with trailer stalls.
My wife had this issue yesterday, almost got stranded at work but she had the backup key card with her. We had to update permissions with the app update to allow the app to use the phone as a key. Open the app and pull up the option screen (like where you precondition the truck), that is where...
