You can't see the VIN prior to selecting a vehicle, but as soon as a VIN is assigned to you (when you click confirm) the VIN is available and listed in the Rivian APP. It is instant.. once you confirm then the VIN and all the config info for that VIN (color, features) is viewable in the app...
The only difference (as far as the build) between an LE and an AE is the little badge on the dash. So... they need to use up their supply if little badges. Pricing is a little different because you can score some free wheels (LE's are likely less expensive than an AE) and of course the option...
My Galaxy S23 Ultra works perfectly with PAAK... unlocks every time long before I reach for the door handle. My wife's Apple iphone 14 Pro sucks.. she stands there so long waiting for the door to unlock and sometimes it doesn't work at all. She has resorted to just carrying the key fob in her...
I have the Rivian frame from the Shop
.. but your like for the backing g plate is perfect! I was searching for something to go behind the plate.. no way was I going to just mount it up with nothing between the paint and the plate.
Audi allows for this with the etron. Charging profiles based on location. Audi's software doesn't do much... but this was one feature they had implemented.
They reached 13000 in mid June. I picked mine from the shop moments after it showed up, it was freshly produced. I am sure they are well into the 14000 now.
My 13000 has the AC noise issue, but it is ice cold (I dont care, they will eventually fix the noise issue). So don't think that the...
When I had access in mid-june... yes, I saw quite a few launch green R1S show up each day. They only last for a few minutes before they are claimed. If you want a certain config then you can't just check the shop once or twice a day... you need to take a day and hit refresh every 1-2 minutes...
It absolutely was a brilliant move. They needed people who were proactively looking for a R1 (even if they had a pre-order). I am going to guess that a high percentage of people with pre-orders who's cars where finally built either
1) Rivian has a difficult contacting them (emails bounce/not...
This is exactly it. Does my wife need 80% range every day? No. Certainly not. But, what if she forgets to plug in at night (happens often). What if something unexpected pops up and she is needing to drive much further than often? dumb stuff like... the kids need something for a school project...
Does anyone know why Rivian suggests 70% charge for daily use vs. 80% (which is what I have seen other manufactures recommend). Does Rivian have less buffer in their charging capacities? just seems odd to recommend a "normal daily charge" that is 70% of capacity. I have my R1S set at 80%...
It means your R1S was made quite a while ago (someone else will need to comment on the build date for that VIN range. Possible that it sat around the factory because it didn't pass QC and they had to fix some stuff. the good news is... they spent time to fix it.
