Those little dots on the site are so weird to me - in all the photos I've seen, Catalina Cove doesn't seem to be quite as dark, while Borealis is a little brighter. And my Forest Green R1T is also a little darker, but it has so much depth.
Online samples for car colors never seems to line up...
Am I the only person that thinks that having Forest Green available on all the trims except standard is better that other auto manufacturers? Or am I just a little naive?
UI changes will be later this year (in the video at the top of this thread).
I'm guessing the charger might not, as the dimensions are most likely different on the center console. They may make a version of it for the inevitable R1 Gen 3....
I think Rivian is hemorrhaging less money than Lucid (more of a decent bleeder that is getting patched up). Aren't all of Lucid's models still outright loosing money? Rivian still has gross profit on the R1 line and R2 is supposed to be profitable right out of the gate...
And both (or all?) of the standard trims list a tow rating of 3,500lbs, matching all of the Model Y trims.
But they don't list the tow package as an option. Maybe just an oversight...
To my eyes, the video gives it a bit of both..... but I would call it closer to teal or turquoise overall.
She wants it on the R3. But that would require a new, larger garage (current one barely fits our R1T and a decent workbench) and some other stuff getting paid off.
Not that I've had to by any form of vehicle fuel in years now, but I do keep an eye on the prices in my area.... $4.49/gal for regular, $5.99 for diesel. Those were yesterday's prices in my neighborhood.
I really, really don't miss buying gas.
