  1. Scout Launch Delayed to 2028: Report [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I worked nights for 20 months... Still saw the sun (it would wake me up at about 2 in the afternoon due to window placement in the apartment).
  2. Rivian: Scaling Our Service Infrastructure For a Growing Owner Community

I think the more important thing to know would be if the work on your vehicle was done well and in a reasonable amount of time?
  3. Network traffic

Is CenturyLink your ISP? It also might be a hosting a DNS server... AmazonAWS is most likely the final destination, as Rivian uses them for their cloud infrastructure.
  4. Scout Launch Delayed to 2028: Report [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Kinda sounds like you are in a spiral that I find myself in once in a while - letting perfect be the enemy of good/better. In the end, I have to remind myself that while EVs, solar panels, wind turbines, etc. do have an environmental impact, they are still leaps and bounds better than sticking...
  5. Is there a consensus tire for a swap to 21inch rolling diameter for a 20inch wheel?

I was thinking this way for a while too, but the growing number of different tires available for the 21" wheels is keeping me from getting different wheels. RivianTracker has a good guide on the available tires for all Rivian wheel sizes, and there are two clear non-Pirelli options - the...
  6. Speculation - R1T cost after R2 launch…

It would be quite surprising (and kind of impressive?) if he was!
  7. Scout Launch Delayed to 2028: Report [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

About a day or so after the non-German media started reporting on it, Scout put out a statement that was as close to a confirmation without actually confirming anything. There's a post on page five with a link.
  8. R2 prototype in the wild with roof rack (2/26/26 @ Redwood City)

Not legally. The name can only be fully changed by an act of Congress, which hasn't happened yet (and I'm guessing won't happen any time soon). All the DoW crap is just the administration wanting to sound tough.
  9. Any SoCal electricians want to make a buck? Pre-wired EV garage charger.

I've wanted to replace some of the breakers in the panel for a while now, but wasn't sure if it was anything more than popping them out and putting the new ones in.
  10. Welp Rosie might be done for...

Gen 1 has gotten at least one new feature in nearly every update since I bought mine in Feb. 2024. Unless you are talking about updates for Driver+ for Gen 1, then I'd agree with you, kinda. They did add a component for Driver+ that downloads it's own updates whenever they push one. There's...
  11. Passenger airbag locations?

Check your Owner's Guide - it shows the locations of all the airbags.
  12. Anyone who ordered receive their Borealis R1T or R1S yet? - - -

That is just so damn pretty. Hopefully the yellow R1T's new owner appreciates the rarity of the color...
  13. Any SoCal electricians want to make a buck? Pre-wired EV garage charger.

Tell that to my electrical panel. 🤣 Wonder if Washington State cares about that or not... Granted, the people that did the flip on my house cut corners in more and more places that I find, which is such a lovely feeling.
  14. New apparel in gear shop previews New R2 Colors?

I think the real test is these water bottles. They have always been updated with the latest color that the R1's come in, and match almost perfectly - I feel like I could scrape some paint of my Forest Green bottle and stick it on my truck and no one would notice (other than the fact that gluing...
  15. Someone, talk me out of dumping my R1T

It's amazing how much better the GMC looks compared to the Chevy. Granted, they are both too big and too tall up front (truck front ends have been as big as the Hoover Dam for far too long now), but the Sierra Doesn't look like a Honda, which is a good thing for a pickup truck.
