  1. 20" Inch What are your top 3 priorities for replacement tires?

I could only pick 1 of your choice options. 2nd I want a quiet tire. 3 is I want a tire with very good road performance, both wet and dry. Couldn't care less what the tread looks like. I'm not buying a tire to make my R1T look tough.
  2. Costco left me a gift after installing new tires

One of the reasons I left the plastic panel off when I installed my running boards.
  3. Jack stands?

As long as it's a 2 way street, it should be all good. Ours is also a shared pot, but neither of us make a big deal about what the other spends because we're both pretty thrifty.
  4. Jack stands?

    Were you spending HER money?
  5. 22" Tires Vs. 20" Tires

I believe that a 20" wheel is the smallest you can put on an R1 due to the size of the brake calipers. The factory tires that came on the 20" wheels, at least for my LE R1T, were All Terrain. That means a more aggressive tread and with that, more road noise. As the tread wore down, they...
  6. The Verge - ChargePoint is doing something about all the EV charger cable-cutting crooks

Not practical. The copper in the cables is finely stranded so that the cable is flexible. I agree with the people who suggest that the cable be energize so that there is a short circuit when cut.
  7. At what price will you exit RIVN?

My grand children can sell it after they inherit it.
  8. Telo EV Pickup Truck first look: 5 seats, 5 foot bed, 350 miles range, 0-60 in 4 seconds, size of Mini Cooper ?

I'd be in for 1 if those specs are realized. And the solar aspect isn't important to me.
  9. Keep R1T After Warranty or buy new one

I'm about the same as you. Same 6xxx VIN and 56K miles, but I'm going to be retiring in 2 weeks, so I'll be putting a lot fewer miles on Arty when I no longer have a 96 mile round trip commute. I'm keeping it for the long term.
  10. NACS Adapter Storage in R1T

Mine is in my house, family room to be exact, until /if I go on a road trip
  11. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Remarkably egalitarian of them. I wonder if Tesla had the same consideration.
  12. Would a different portable charger work better on a GFCI circuit?

Yes, just like circuit breakers, they can get "loose" with repeated tripping. Actually, it is much less of an imbalance between the hot and the neutral to cause a GFCI to trip. 60 miliamps is still enough to kill. The purpose of the GFCI is to prevent that. Good advise. OR replace the GFCI. If...
  13. Rivian Shout-out in Bend Bulletin

That might be another indication that there's a lot of money in Bend. Seems like Bend has more banks per capita than anywhere else in Oregon. Hope y'all do get a service center.
  14. iOS App v2.18.0 and Android 2.18 Released

For me, there is ZERO value to being able to book and manage 2 test drives from the App. YMMV
  15. Drive it like you stole it, people

To stay on topic; That's why I bought a R1T! Only if you went to Oregon College of Education like I did. I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I liked teaching, but it turns out I didn't like managing a bunch of 11 year olds. Now I'm electrician who manages 6 "adults".
  16. Say hello to "Sarge."

My son's first choice for color. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy driving Arty.
  17. R1T ski trip with family from San Francisco CA to Bend OR

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. It benefits so many other people. If you ever happen to be in Kalamath falls again, Wubbba's Express is the place to go for BBQ. Probably the thing I miss most about K Falls. Just one question; Is the skiing at Bachelor worth that long...
  18. Towing Report: Airstream Pottery Barn >> R1S Gen 1 (First Tow)

At $170,000 list price, it's almost like buying two R1's
