I could only pick 1 of your choice options. 2nd I want a quiet tire. 3 is I want a tire with very good road performance, both wet and dry.
Couldn't care less what the tread looks like. I'm not buying a tire to make my R1T look tough.
As long as it's a 2 way street, it should be all good.
Ours is also a shared pot, but neither of us make a big deal about what the other spends because we're both pretty thrifty.
I believe that a 20" wheel is the smallest you can put on an R1 due to the size of the brake calipers.
The factory tires that came on the 20" wheels, at least for my LE R1T, were All Terrain. That means a more aggressive tread and with that, more road noise. As the tread wore down, they...
Not practical. The copper in the cables is finely stranded so that the cable is flexible.
I agree with the people who suggest that the cable be energize so that there is a short circuit when cut.
I'm about the same as you. Same 6xxx VIN and 56K miles, but I'm going to be retiring in 2 weeks, so I'll be putting a lot fewer miles on Arty when I no longer have a 96 mile round trip commute.
I'm keeping it for the long term.
Yes, just like circuit breakers, they can get "loose" with repeated tripping.
Actually, it is much less of an imbalance between the hot and the neutral to cause a GFCI to trip. 60 miliamps is still enough to kill. The purpose of the GFCI is to prevent that.
Good advise.
OR replace the GFCI. If...
That might be another indication that there's a lot of money in Bend. Seems like Bend has more banks per capita than anywhere else in Oregon.
Hope y'all do get a service center.
To stay on topic; That's why I bought a R1T!
Only if you went to Oregon College of Education like I did. I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I liked teaching, but it turns out I didn't like managing a bunch of 11 year olds.
Now I'm electrician who manages 6 "adults".
Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. It benefits so many other people.
If you ever happen to be in Kalamath falls again, Wubbba's Express is the place to go for BBQ. Probably the thing I miss most about K Falls.
Just one question; Is the skiing at Bachelor worth that long...
