Good find!
Looks like they hit the lottery for sure: underbody shield plus BM. First batch of R1Ss seem to be nearly all BM.
I hope the next batch are FE... ?
I've asked on Reddit and here - nothing confirmed yet, but like @AxelR mentioned above ... It's anyone's guess if we are getting a good sample size from social media.
Someone picked up their vehicle y'day at the Brooklyn SC and they counted roughly 10 R1Ss awaiting delivery...that's factual...
Holy sh*t. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful truck!
Brooklyn SC is not messing around.
I'm actually excited about possibly getting mine in the earlier part of my delivery window now.
That's the million dollar question.
My gut tell me they start building some non-LE R1S before EOY. Slightly better margins since the 22s aren't included for free.
My initial reaction is that we would have heard in this forum that a non-LE R1S is about to get delivered...then again maybe it's only a matter of time.
I definitely believe that I'm more likely to see my delivery in Q1 instead of the large range of 1H
Definitely an option. I'm going to get the R1S before we even see the first EV9 delivery.
If I'm head over heels with the R1S then I'm sticking to it. If not, I'll definitely give the EV9 a good look.
I just noticed we have the exact same config. Great minds think alike!
Right on. We are blessed to be in a position of getting a 80k+ vehicle.
Although... I will say that not logging on and congifuring an LE in time, likely to be delivered in 2022 may end up being a very costly mistake for me...oh well!
I'm getting my R1S regardless of the tax credit. Not living on a prayer like some folks who adamantly believe they are entitled to getting the credit. ?
Nothing looks or is as strong as a factory finish. I don't care what a detailer or powder coater is stating.
The AT brights also cost $1700 more for the dark wheels and I'm paying for it.
I can get the normal brights powder coated for $800 but it won't be the same as the factory blacks.
Wow. Thank you for the detailed comment. I absolutely have been thinking about this incorrectly and a bit shortsighted. I truly appreciate you opening up my mind to this ... I through our the 40k figure because I feel like everything is more expensive in NJ but I should do a lot more diligence...
I just can't get over the hump on solar yet. My home was built in 2018 and my electric bill averages $150 a month...now that doesn't yet include charging my Rivian...it's a very energy efficient home.
That's almost a 20 year payback period at a roughly 40k install cost...I'm all in once the...
@Mygrain and @Hoo D. Hoo - I can only imagine your level of frustration.
Someone mentioned that Support stated we should all be receiving delivery estimates and future production updates on our order page on the website ... Coming the 3rd week of September... Let's hope that happens...
I understand quite a bit...such as putting our configs/timelines in our signature.
Clearly you need some help understanding how this forum works, correct - maybe I can put together a document for you...
Maybe I can spell it out for you...1) update your signature 2) get this thread back on topic.
