Sounds like the grill in the center of the dash has loosened. See if you can pop it back into place. Happened to me after driving over a number of miles of forest service roads last year.
Would you all quit hijacking my thread? This is about Rivian's poor lack of communication regarding the Rivian adapter, not the A2Z or Lectron NACS adapters!!!! /s (/s added for clarity)
Did you try both a soft and a hard reset? Don't know if it will help but probably worth a shot. I did the update and my charge port didn't have any problems. I did have to perform a soft reset to get Tune-in to work.
For the second time this season I've parked next to another Rivian at Mt. Bachelor. Saw another 5 on the way back into town! Yellow made it easy to find my truck when we were leaving. ?
I have a V7 Rivian wall charger. It has been on an older version of the software for, it seems like, forever. I just updated the R1T to 2024.07.02 and saw that the charger had updated to V03.04.09. Maybe the charger update is related to the Rivian S/W update?
I'm surprised that you are out of range for mobile service. AJ, who serviced our R1T, lives in Redmond and said that his coverage area included Klamath Falls and all the way to Crescent City. Maybe they've changed the guidelines. He was last here in June '23.
