  1. Rivian dropped my truck!

OP also didn't specify new "Rivian" truck, merely new truck.
  2. Why Did You Choose Rivian Over Competitors?

    1. I wanted an EV. 2. Really wanted 400 mile range, settled for 300. 3. High-centered my Outback in the back alley and only Rivian had the ground clearance.
  3. Battery icon came up red. Can i drive it and how long before the Battery dies?

My warning light came on on Feb 27th, didn't drive it too much, kept it plugged in otherwise. Drove to Tualatin SC about 2.5 weeks later, on Mar 17th.
  4. Tualatin / Tigard Oregon RAN - Coming Soon

Nice to have but the only time I ever go to Tualatin is for service and they always givej me a full charge before I leave. I'd be happier if they just put a damned SC in Central Oregon!
  5. Android app - pls fix PAAK change in latest update

Pixel 7 Pro. Keep phone in front pants pocket and have had no problems. Only time I have a problem is when I've accidentally turned off Bluetooth.
  6. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

OP asks "Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?" No, but you're probably in the minority.
  7. A good time to own an EV - Gas Prices about to go nuts [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Just saw this on Bluesky. Thought it somewhat á propos to the conversation.
  8. Received 12V Battery Warning - Looking for some advice

Thanks for everyone's help and advice regarding the 12V battery warning! I thought I'd provide a quick update on where things stand: Yesterday morning I used the RiDE menu to reset the 12V battery warning and it has not reappeared. I also have not experienced any issues while driving the car...
  9. Received 12V Battery Warning - Looking for some advice

The truck hasn't been sleeping much, at all. Even before I received the warning.
  10. Received 12V Battery Warning - Looking for some advice

Regarding mobile service - We have had mobile service in the past. They've been to my house around 4-5 times already. Can't speak to the current situation. I only have the one car. If it wasn't winter I would just ride my bike more!
  11. Received 12V Battery Warning - Looking for some advice

Well, that is the question. Put off the service scheduled for 3/17 until after mobile service can replace the failing 12V sometime in April or take my chances on a drive to Tualatin and have the battery replaced at the same time as the recall service?
  12. Received 12V Battery Warning - Looking for some advice

Last Friday I received the 12V battery warning on my '22 R1T. I am already scheduled for the FSAM-1794 recall service at the Tualatin SC on 3/17. Although the 12V battery replacement can be done via mobile service, Rivian has decided to suspend mobile service to Central Oregon while a local...
  13. 2026.03 12v battery details gen1

Got the dreaded 12V battery warning today at exactly 09:33:08 AM PST with 29,641.8 miles on the odometer and two days short of 42 months from delivery. Trying to get mobile service to do the replacement as I'm not comfortable driving over to the Portland area (about 170 miles) with a suspect...
  14. TuneIn App in Flashing Loop

It happened to me one time. Gen1 R1T. Everything was fine when I left the house. Dropped a couple of books off at the library and it started to flicker when I got back in the truck. Stopped at the grocery store. Flickering stopped when I started the truck. Hasn't happened again.
  15. R2 Music system missing CD player

Nah! Betamax is the only way to go.
  16. 2026.03 Update Pushed! Now Installing

I got notification of the update but will wait a week or two before installing. I've got a Gen 1 R1T, so there's not anything compelling to me. I have memories of folks who had their cars out of service as a result of issues in an earlier release.
  17. Scheduled Charging more than 1 time period?

I was strictly responding to the part of your post that says "I recall Rivian having some TOU rate plan integration, but can’t find it for the life of me in the app or in the vehicle.". But, yeah, I'm pretty sure you can't have more than one, ATT.
  18. Rivian Service - what a blind spot (Marin County)

We have a mobile tech that comes over from the valley. I think it's for about 3 days a week. I haven't heard of getting a SC east of the Cascades (I've asked) but Amazon is opening a warehouse/distribution center in Redmond, OR. Maybe we'll get a local service center when that happens. I...
