I'm in MN so snow/ice is absolutely a thing for almost all of the winter but the factory AT's have actually been really good in the experiences I've had so far. We run Blizzaks on my wife's Subaru (and I've run the same on previous cars I've had too) and they are better than the Pirelli's but...
My big thing is I need good winter weather performance. I don't really want to buy/store another set of wheels/tires for the truck like I have with previous cars. Will the Michelin M/S 2's do well in the winter weather stuff?
^ This. I'll start calling my local discount tire for these in early December. For $370 a tire, I'm all in. Would love to get someone's opinions on winter snow/ice performance though...
^ This. There are some songs on Apple Music encoded in Atmos that sound absolutely phenomenal (try Love by Lorde or The Door by Teddy Swims) and others that are just labelled Atmos for fun and not specifically recorded/encoded in the right way with all of the specific channels mapped to the...
I have CP/AA in my two other cars and I definitely don't miss it or want it in the Rivian. The integrated UI in the Rivian is far better than having two different systems for an infotainment. In order to switch between Apple music and radio I have to literally switch UI's and figure out how to...
I'm probably going to do the same. I don't care much for actual off road performance, the AT's just look cool. I think I'm going to be able to hold out with the stock tires until the end of the year but then new tires will for sure be required.
Now that you've got a few days worth of driving in, how do you feel like the noise level is compared to the Pirellis?
I don't have any gripes with the stock tires other than they are sofa king loud. I'm nearing replacement and I'm between these Toyos and the Bridgestone Duellers. I'd really...
I agree completely, the sound system is back to crap like it was before the last update. With the previous revision I genuinely was excited to get into the truck to listen to music and enjoy it. Now it just sounds dead again.
Is everyone logging tickets to resolve this? It's unacceptable...
