    Hard disagree. CCDs and lenses are commodity products. You can buy them in infinite quantities with infinite specs. There is no negotiation on these parts, there is just picking one out of a hundred page catalog.

    About a month and a half ago I scheduled service. My appointment number was approximately 700,000. I scheduled another one today (new metallic whirring sound from wheels) and was assigned number 815,000 (roughly). That’s a lot of appointments for not that many cars.

    My R1T has squeaky dampers and service told me they were “within spec.” This (the shaft) is what you get when the manufacturer has a monopoly on the service of your car.
