I haven't been tracking it carefully, but with mostly mixed driving of short commutes for my wife on weekdays, running the wheels off it on the weekends to baseball games/costco/etc, and the once every month road trip for a few hundred miles it seems to be about 2.37 or so overall. IMO it is...
275/65/20 All season Michelin defender LTX ms 2 with 116 load index here. IMO the best performing and longest lasting all season tire there is.
So quiet... So so quiet... The efficiency is up, they take the heat, they take the snow, they don't need to be rotated as often... I have run them on...
My apple music had not worked for months and always had the "not connected" or "no contact here" messages. With the latest update it works flawlessly. That said, I'm off the trial for it and canceling the service as Prime music is great for us.
One thing is that my Apple login (both TV stream...
I'm not questioning the market's obsession with the captain's chairs configuration (I have bought four Ford Explorers over the years, and I remember my sales guy telling me that people were obsessed with the captain's chairs on SUVs so kids could get themselves into the third row of SUVs).
I am...
Here is an article about the one in sterling and a photo from Reddit just a couple of days ago.
I think we all know the same mobile tech that wants to work there.
Bonus is it will be right around the corner from solace brewing...
Same here. Ours are smoooooth as silk and so quiet. I think we are averaging 2.37 on ours and I have the Rivian set to the correct size, but aftermarket all seasons. They aren't aggressive looking, but when clean and shined they get noticed for how big they are.
Only thing I would add is if you are dedicated to just having one year round all season tire, I would recommend the Michelin Defender LTX MS2. It is consistently one of the best performers out there and exceeds the performance of some three peak rated tires.
However, if you are doing a lot of...
Well, I agree, but I am a big fan of the Kuiper satellite network they are launching for low orbit internet service. It's great to see them competing with Spacex and that technology will help a lot of people.
I mean, I agree with everything you guys are saying, but I'm pretty excited that Amazon is moving ahead with Kuiper to compete with Starlink and...
... I just like seeing the Rivians get good press
Always great to see the rivians racing across the desert to the blue origin capsule. Had some great wide shots of them this time. Hopefully good press for the company since this particular launch is very PR related with the All-Star cast on board.
Love the Autel maxicharger here. That said, the comment above is correct, charger doesn't matter (or isn't needed) until you upgrade the breakers, wiring, etc.
This is great news. We used to go to OBX (Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and Duck) for over a decade, but haven't gone in several years now. It was great to see Tesla had something we could use there starting last year, but I would much rather use the RAN network and give Rivian the money.
Someone on Reddit changed to another tire thinking it was a match (I think they picked an ev tire they didn't have) and it messed up their mph etc.
I changed mine to the aftermarket, but I think your fine keeping the setting as stock. Either way, just make sure you pick the right size either...
Depends on what you are compromising on (performance, noise, price, ability to rotate, longevity, being a PITA to deal with) :) Directional are known to be louder generally speaking. They are also can be a pain for lots of reasons.
I have Michelin directionals on my 2015 Mustang. They are...
Yup, this is my answer. I would LOVE to see this for the R2 with the deep clearcoat as shown here.
Remember that Rivian really focuses on their branding and that is outdoor/adventure which is why we have all the gray colors for different terrian, the blue (water), the green (trees).
It might...
For anyone that can't get their hands on this and needs a substitute because they can't get this, the Prestone all season works very well and smells almost identical. I discovered it when the mobile tech had it with him one days instead of the GC stuff and I'm not entirely sure that it isn't...
