My Q7 had a really short wheelbase AND rear wheel steering. It drove MUCH smaller than it's dimensions would suggest. Also made backing a trailer absurdly easy. I'm loving the premise of 4WS on a Rivian.

This hits the nail on the head for me. Love the buttery smooth EV driveline and then when I go to use it CLUNK "into gear" to access the smoothness.

If I ever have another Rivian, it will NOT be a dual motor. The efficiency gain isn't worth the POS rear disconnect. It's effing awful.
