After 3 weeks of calling/emailing my guide, he finally got back with me this week regarding the registration. I got the same email as everyone else today. I replied back that I would be ok to take the paperwork to the DMV and get my own tags. My tags expire on Tuesday. With my previous...
I am used to my Tesla easily charging (L2) overnight. The Rivian barely makes it overnight. I always thought the Hummer guys would be in for rude awakening with that large battery. You just confirmed it- 40% overnight.
My tag is going to expire in less than 2 weeks. I've contacted Rivian via e-mail and phone on 3 occasions. They keep saying my guide will contact me. No contact yet. What is my next step. I'm in Georgia and also have not received my title yet.
I've had numerous callers state they hear a moderate echo when I am using my iphone via bluetooth in the Rivian. Anyone else have this issue? Solution?
With time it did loosen up slightly. During driving the phone is solid and does not move. I make sure I brace the magmount as I pull the phone off. I've noticed that this is not as efficient as plugging the phone with a wired charger. I don't really add charge during a typical drive, however...
Interestingly I just noticed the wheel shake a few days ago. No drifting or veering. Not sure if I should have the tires balanced or wheel alignment. In terms of wheel alignment, could a standard shop do this or does the RT1 need specialized equipment.
Noticed this the other day. Not sure if this was a rock I struck while driving or door opening into it. Luckily no paint damage underneath. Rivian is still like "new".
I chose the 22's due to the appearance and lack of off roading I will do. However based on my experience with 22's on my Model Y it is more prone to curb rash and pothole damage. The biggest expense I've had on my Tesla's (X and Y) are tires. These are heavy cars (Rivian is even heavier) and a...
Easy Mr Denver. I'm here to humbly share my experience and learn from others. I'm also not new to the EV world having owned a few Cayenne hybrids, a Leaf, and currently 2 Tesla's and a Honda Clarity. All of my charging has been at home with level 2 chargers. Have taken a few 500 mile trips...
Never really thought about this, my temporary tags expire in a few weeks. Who do I contact to see if there are any glitches in the registration process- Rivian or DMV?
Welcome to the world of Tesla where you are used to fast charging. This is my first non Tesla electric car. This is what the manufacturers and dealers will not tell you- there are very few fast charging stations out there. The vast majority are level 2 chargers of which really are impractical.
