I think we all agree the built in Rivian wireless charger is worthless. The Mag charger installed works in the sense that it holds my phone and consistently shows that it is charging. However the charge rate is mediocre. On a 45 minute drive it may charge my phone about 1%. I guess at least...
Just want to clarify- you can only unlock/lock the car with the wristband but cannot start the vehicle? If that is the case, what's the point of having a wristband.
Love the auto hold. So far it has locked in on all occassions. The other thing I like is that I don't have to be at a standstill to switch from Drive to Reverse or viceversa.
The argument that you cannot hear EVs and have to put an artificial noise doesn't make sense. Other than tire noise I barely hear the engine noise of most new cars, especially luxury vehicles. The manufacturers have done a great job of decreasing engine noise from the outside and on the...
The Rivian is very well engineered and put together. Teslas are basically a motor and battery with a body shell on top of it. This is simply based on my observation of removing the frunk on both vehicles.
Just got my Rivian 2 weeks ago. I am assuming Rivian will file the paperwork for the car registration. I didn't really pay much attention when the guide dropped off the truck (was too excited to listen to that kind of stuff). Did anyone receive their license from the State yet?
I've had that happen a couple of times on the Tesla and sort of happened yesterday on my Rivian. Not a big deal, the car functions fully without the screen. Just had to reset the screen.
During a routine drive the main and part of the front screen went dark. The truck was functioning fine and the system went back to normal once I got home. Anyone know how to do a hard reset.
Here is my 2 cents worth on PPF and ceramic coatings. Most of is marketing hype and not worth the cost.
-My first experience with ceramic coating was a black vehicle. The paint correction done prior to the coating was absolutely worth it. All the swirls were removed and it looked better...
I get about 7-8kW on the 30 amp charger and was getting from 10-15kW on the Tesla charger. It may be that the charge rate is faster with a depleted battery and slows down significantly when it starts getting full. In terms of charge rate: 15-20miles/hr for the Rivian and up to 33miles/hr for...
