Bought same for my R1T and it works well… but sadly my Gen 1 suffered Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly (totaled). But the cooler bag still works well in my Gen 2, just has to live in the top section of the frunk.

As has been clarified in other threads, the V1.5 PTC (upgraded-stacking) nor the V2 PTC (newest rolling / small slats) impact the gear tunnel in any way… all use same space (above/outside the gear tunnel) as with the original V1 PTC.

Great experience with Rivian (Nationwide) insurance, although mine may not be a typical case. If you want to see the whole story, it is HERE. But insurance is never going to go down… only up. Especially given the expensive repairs for EVs and technology-focused vehicles.
