    This has been my experience with a R1T and 2 bikes. I only tested in conserve mode with the bike rack on and saw a 10% to 15% loss.

    Agree with this based on engineering experience and personal experience with heat pumps in another car. Helpful but not magic. There are some wacky posts on this thread about how heat pumps cool the cabin vs air conditioners. The reality is, they are the same in cooling mode.

    I got an early build quad R1T two years ago and it’s been awesome . By this fall I will be at 60,000 miles. Basic warranty expires at 70,000 60,000. The Gen 2 release has me thinking seriously of a trade in for a new R1T. Don’t think I would be thinking that way without the updates.

    From a end user perspective it may be fair to call it Gen 1.2 but from a internal manufacturing perspective it is clearly Gen 2.0
