I put the Las Angeles and San Diego area in its own region for this analysis. Yes, that area scores much lower than the rest of what I called the "SouthWest" region.
Try the electrify America station in Pine City. Hit it on the way up and the way back. Also a charge point in Moose Lake but that is a slower 62 kw unit.
I have no doubt experiences like yours exist. My experiences, fortunately, have been quite good in the Midwest and mountain west areas. Often, but certainly not always, I’ve seen all charges at an EA station occupied and operating at they should. Hopefully that experience become common.
I agree with you that the R1T handles well in cross winds. I thought it might just be because of the weight but then we got another E.V. (Volvo XC40 recharge). That gets pushed around much more by the wind.
My apologies to the wolverines, Michigan did not get surveyed. The PlugShare filter craps out if more than 250 sites are in the region of the map being viewed. To keep it under 250 all the time and to have clearly defined geographic boundaries I could replicate each time, a few states got...

In retrospect, I wish I had done this when the truck was new to establish a baseline with these methods. That would have helped underpin the degradation over time.
It is also reported that there is an initially higher rate the first year or so then it slows down to that 1% per year. Also, i have a much higher that average mileage accumulation so I’m happy with the 3% I measured.
Thanks for the question. Open to any others thoughts.
Ah, yes. I forgot to include that.
Typically 70% but we make frequent trips to our cabin 165 miles away so then I often do 80% to 90%. I try hard to not leave the truck sit for long periods below 50% or above 75%.
We live in MN so not much time sitting in hot, sunny parking lots. I’ve...
