I think it is almost impossible for the buttons to freeze. The hatches could freeze shut like anny other vehicle if water gets in the joint. The buttons are not a risk.

It's pretty unlikely there is anything wrong with your truck. Plenty of reports of Superchargers under delivering power. A suggestion I have is to make sure the Rivian battery is 80 deg F or higher for fast charging. As it gets colder now it can take 30 minutes or more to warm the battery...
