Did they fix the weak spring on the carabiner? I had to super glue mine because it would always fall off of my keyring. Got a replacement because the first one chewed through a battery once per week and it had the same problem.
Hah thanks for the laugh!
This is why calculators should always be checked with the old common sense brain calculator...which in all honesty doesn't always work for me either.
I am VIN #26000, no email from Rivian yet about this adapter. I was hoping to get it for my trip to Utah later this month but I doubt that will happen.
Sooooo I ran my R1T through some pretty nasty mud after a rainstorm along a trail that went smack though the middle of a dry lake bed. It wasn't until two days later that I got off the trails and made it home and power washed the truck but I noticed that the plastic is stained/etched from the...
How long will the lines at Normal be offline? I think the longest Tesla will shut down is for a week or two max.
Are they just retooling or is this going to be a mid-cycle refresh?
I am thinking about putting a large cargo box on my R1S. How much range do you guys think I will lose? It is a Thule 18 cu.ft. box. Much bigger than a slim ski box.
I've done a fair amount of offroading and some sketchy rock crawling in my R1T and I agree that the quad motor setup is inferior to mechanical lockers.
If Rivian would offer lockers in the DM some day that would be amazing. Does anyone know if this is in the pipeline?
I plan on getting a...
The problem I have is getting a newborn and 3yr old into the second row while ensuring access to the 3rd row. So you are saying that the way your kids get into the third row is by removing the infant seat, so just the base is installed? I didn't think of that...Might make things a bit easier...
I have three kiddos and a forth on the way and recently tested an R1S and found that--although it drives like an absolute dream--if I put a rear facing car seat in the middle of the 2nd row there is no way to access the third row because folding the vehicle seat runs interference with the car...
Earlier this year some people were seeing 4-5% per day due to heating devices being left on, e.g. the front windshield defroster. So this is a big improvement.
Range loss due to vampire drain is definitely a buzz kill when you are camping in cold weather and you need every mile you can get to...
From my understanding the dual motor doesn't get much better range compared to a quad that is put into conserve because the dual motor runs in conserve most of the time unless you really floor it? Someone correct me if I am wrong. I also *think* the battery pack is the same size. So how are you...
Same here, I am in Orange County and I have had to wait 4 months for a service appt. I had a trip scheduled a month ago and can't make my appointment and now I have to wait another 2 months. My fault but they said they can't reschedule me sooner. Meanwhile I am driving around with a windshield...
Has anyone else done this recently? I am on the fence as whether or not to turn in my R1T purchased May of '23 for an R1S in the next few months because our family is growing and we will no longer be able to fit in the R1T!
I don't believe the hype from Sandy. Yes the stitching is pretty but I've sat in a lot of vehicles over my life and I stand by what I said about overall comfort and design. Yes the air/heat system is better but the F150 has better bolstering and leg support, plus it doesn't have a cut out in an...
No I still have not found a solution. I have been driving with a yellow towel rolled up and velcroed into the void where the "rivian" logo is. Still quite uncomfortable for me. I am considering selling the truck but if I do that my wife is going want the R1S in it's place for herself and I'll...
Ok dummy here. I singed the BPA but forgot to submit IRS form 8936 when I did my 2022 return this last fall 2023. I took delivery of my truck in May of 2023.
Should I file a 2022 amendment or follow the email and try and claim the $7500 on my 2023 taxes? Sticker price was under 80k.
Mucho...
