I just bought two of them after seeing this video b/c I've been terrified of ice and snow after seeing some posts on these forums. I have a very (VERY) steep driveway and it leads directly into a retaining wall. I also bough Nokian snow tires. Ironically we have had no snow this year at all. But...
That's a good point on the card having to be so precise. Maybe I just don't lock it but I sure don't think that's the case, and as also noted, I will look for that setting to auto-relock if no door open.
Thanks all
I generally just leave the fob at home and have one card in my wallet. I have the phone auto lock/unlock off as I'd just like to lock and unlock it myself when I want to. A couple of times I've locked it, left and returned to find that it's unlocked. I often leave the wallet in the truck if it's...
I ride once or twice a week, usually within 15 - 30 mins of home. I bought a race face tailgate pad, but I only use that on longer weekend trips b/c it's a little bit of work to put on take off (not a lot, but 5 mins or so). All I use now is a mover's pad I drape over the tailgate and then put...
Very happy with my R1T. 2 months in, 1500 miles. No charging issues the few times I’ve needed it on the road. No tonneau but I’m sure I will get theirs or a 3rd party one by spring. Vampire drain is excessive, hopefully it improves with software updates. Still waiting for the current update. But...
I used one. gave him one of the cards and explained it. he figured it out. my wife said I should make a laminated piece of paper with instructions (like don't raise but off seat when backing up) to hand to Valet. I thought that was a good idea and will likely do that.
Slight venting / curiosity. A few times after the truck has been sitting for a while, especially in fairly cold weather, it starts off in turtle mode. Is that normal? I don't see that in the manual. One time I drove around a parking lot, put it in park and then back in drive and it was ok. Other...
2% in 24 hours and Service is looking into it? what was the approx temp? b/c I think I routinely lose more than 2% in a 24 hour period. I'm hoping a generic software update will solve it for all of us over the next several months.
Nice! That's how it's supposed to work! And presumably will improve over time. Hopefully the charging infrastructure improves at a faster rate than EVs sold.
a $20 no-show fee, plus you lose your ability to reserve for 1 month. You get 5 mins past your reserved start time and if you aren't there by then, someone else can jump in.
I don't think there's a perfect solution but I think it's workable with some reasonable pros and cons.
If you use the hose winder and put it in the gear tunnel door storage, do you even need the bag? I gave up on ever getting the hose back in the bag, so I use the bag to store my gear guard original and optional longer gear guard cable, which I put in the frunk.
Drove from NJ to MA, 180 miles. I charged to 100% just before I left. I didn't think there would be a charger at my destination, so I stopped about 100 miles in and charged to mid 90's during lunch. Think I peaked at about 165kw. It was a Shell Recharge in La Grangeville NY and it worked great...
That looks amazing.
I have this fantasy of kayaks or SUPs on the roof, RTT over the bed, bikes on a rack on the back. All at once. Yes, I know I would be looking at about 140 miles of range if I did all that. I love this rack but it does kill the roof bars for almost anything except bikes...
Dumb question...why would you need 4 pucks? are they used on a lift? if it's just a jack, don't folks usually just jack up 1 tire at a time? or are they put on blocks as each is jacked up? Sorry, not the handyiest guy.
Currently I don't have a spare or a jack in the truck, hoping I won't need...
