During the December factory tour several people mentioned that 80,000 was expected production capacity for 2023. I'm guessing the lowered numbers reflect anticipated availability of parts.
Hate to hijack this for my own selfish needs but here goes. We have a place up in McHenry County and I've been considering solar. How long have you had it? Who installed? Are you happy with it?
Seriously, is this a joke? If some random start-up introduced this as their new flagship model they wouldn't get a six-year-old to invest his piggy-bank money, let alone a seasoned investor. It almost looks worse today than when it was first introduced. It's clearly intended for a demographic...

Worst example of hype in a long time. This is the stupidest headline for what is, at best, a murky video clip of nothing in particular. Also the "bombarded by lasers" is a bit much. But I am warning you that your mind may end up being blown, so be careful...
On one of our last pre-COVID European trips (France) they screwed up my rental and (after a bit of complaining) they substituted a Mercedes SUV for my smaller reserved vehicle. Joke was on me when I had some difficulty navigating some of the streets in older neighborhoods. The Mercedes was by...

Level 3 is Level 3, whether they're Tesla "superchargers" or some other company - they're all DC chargers. As to whether they all work, I can't make any representation. If they're all working today I can't guarantee what their status will be in the summer. In my experience an occasional charger...
I'm at a point in life where I can pretty much afford any car I could desire. I'm also at a point where I can't hyperobsess over carpet quality. While I've certainly owned vehicles with more "luxurious" interiors, my wife appreciates the animal-free nature of interior materials. Overall, I don't...
If you're operating on the assumption that there are no functioning chargers anywhere then why own electric in the first place. I spent my first two weeks of EV ownership relying on public L3 exclusively and while the occasional charger was out of operation I never encountered a location with no...
