I haven't seen much about Rivian membership but one of the touted features was
mobile charging.
Orvis (and others) sell foam seat extenders/fillers as well, although you can probably come up with a DIY solution:

I'm totally guessing on this one but I would imagine they'll do something like the Sparkcharge Roadie system. I heard that AAA was going to use them so Rivian would likely tap into that resource:

Their IPO documents listed the membership as a an anticipated $5,500 "lifetime" revenue stream with lifetime estimated as 10 years of ownership. So $5,500/10/12 = $45 per month. (If the free first year is included in their estimate then it's $50/month).

The $40K "entry" price was never viable. This is his move to do a broad pricing revision and make it look like you're getting a totally different vehicle instead of getting upsold on what he announced two years ago.
Porsche just opened ae expanded sales/service location less than a mile from there (closer to the Loop) and McLaren has a showroom just East of there. The real estate isn't that expensive and its a very popular destination. Must not have been the right footprint.
