My guide mentioned that it goes up the chain for approval but someone physically within Rivian has the authority to turn on and off shop access. Go get em!

Nope. I got my original ADV order. That short window where I had access to the shop, nothing showed up. They didn't allow the shop to show me LE trim but that logic has changed now from what I read on another thread.

I'm all for having a safer vehicle and it's a great idea but I'm sure they are just following the law when it comes to this aspect.

That's ridiculous. @R1Sky Business - go ask CSR for access now given there is no price differential.

My recommendation: the minute you get a guide just tell them these facts. That you want access to the shop and it's not to save money by grabbing an LE. Your config is the same exact price and you want to keep an eye on the shop if the exact config pops up for you to grab.

I sure have! Took delivery last week. I haven't done a separate post yet since my jaw is still on the ground...

and for our config upgrades the cost is the same as an LE vs ADV. You just get your hands on it quicker which makes everyone happier.

Boy they are cranking these out and I like how they made the R1S shop available for ADV pre order holders to pick up LE's (as a stock holder - I like this move to get rid of inventory).

They already signed a lease for a location in NJ. My delivery guide couldn't give me anymore details but that it's in Mercer Co.

Does anyone have insight from how the Brooklyn SC handles long repairs? If they give me rideshare credits it won't do much good because I'd blow most of it getting back home to central NJ.

Telluride's still have 5k to 10k mark up. These will eclipse that... If I can find a dealer willing to sell me one at MSRP...I might grab one for my wife. I love my R1S but I'd be lying if I said i didn't miss my Telly.
