@EV Sportline - awesome news on cranking these out quicker! Would that same throughout increase be reflected on the S running boards once those begin fulfillment?

Probably a great time to order when a recent post mentioned they finally increased their throughout capacity 3x.

Holy smokes...I spent so much time researching this thread and others to learn more about the install on my R1S... I would assume potentially drilling four holes on each side and the attachment points would be similar...but what the heck do I know!

I guess they can couple the rear camera with paak to achieve this outcome in a future update.

yup for now thats the only way. Maybe they can change this with an update.

I would love for the tailgate to auto open if we waved our legs under the rear of the vehicle for a set amount of time... My Telluride did this and I miss it...

Some advice after reading your original post...you kind of came in hot & heavy with emotions, "Rivian can't be trusted..." (but you own two of them?) Emotional logic is usually met with emotional feedback and thats what you got in this thread...

on Andriod - vehicle updated last night...app still at 1.12.0 - however, I see the option to open tailgate from my phone...hmm...

I didn't realize we have this many audiophiles as Rivian fans...pretty sweet..but come on - the real reason we all bought these rides was for the ADVENTURE!

Very good point and noted! I'll get back on the road once hitting 70ish charge after our first EA stop instead of just hanging out waiting to get to 100. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes (time wise) to get from let's say 70-100 at a supercharger? I know this is depending on kwh at...

EV noob chiming in (only had my R1S for a few weeks)...I've been researching this question recently as we are about to embark on our first road trip... I am going to charge to 100% prior to leaving on any long road trip/journey. We have a battery warranty for a reason and I don't think it's...

If it's a day trip then just charge up to 100 at a nearby EA and then just park in short term. Might be easier than the off-site/charger option!
