That could definitely be part of it.
I think they are trying to hit that 25k figure to give shareholders relative comfort that they charted out to hit that number in 2022 and are going to come damn near close...We have to remember that they are a publicly traded company and that is front &...
What proof are you looking for - an official statement from Rivian? That's not happening.
As an investor - they are prioritizing the Ts and or EDVs to hit that 25k annual figure. Good for them and it makes sense. As an early pre order holder it outright sucks for those such as @paariv that...
Exactly. @COdogman - you clearly don't understand simple logic. If all of the 2022 S estimates got pushed into 2023 that translates into all R orders got pushed out to make Ts.
Is that so hard to grasp?
We have our own R1S threads going on separate from these yet you want to be combative...
We have 2018 and 2019 pre order holders in the BC service area with early and late 2023 dates. Given your order date I'm not surprised you are slated for sometime in 2024.
Based on early indications they are moving to a first order in first delivered on R1Ss moving forward regardless of LE vs Adv.
What's evident is that distance to SC is definitely coming into play with updated estimates.
Proves the randomness sometimes of who gets picked for delivery sooner.
If that other owner has FE or OC interior then that would explain a bit of the delay.
Congratulations!!!
Now here comes the flood of config changes from FE and OC to BM for those of us with ADV S orders!
It seems like they have a ton of BM interiors and are just cranking them out.
Significant around the edges if not installed correctly.
Edit: a complete failure is unlikely. Peeling or bubbling around the edges can happen if installed by rookies.
Customer service is great...the delta between different guides and CSRs just leads me to believe that they all need to get on the same page...there is a major lack of Leadership within the (customer service and Guide) Business Units.
