It's boiling down to location, location, location for some folks. We get hyper focused on configs but I think Rivian is going to attempt delivering vehicles closer to SCs. In fact I think @Administrator should add distance to SC to the delivery tracking threads.

It's evident the folks who waited out for a max pack R1S got penalized plenty. Rivian should do something about this tranche of folks to move up their orders. Obviously understanding that earlier LEs should still get fulfilled first.

Customer service folks have told us lots of contradictory information the past 3-4 years... I stand corrected. Production HQ is in Normal...

I wouldn't do any PPF without proper prep and paint correction first and the factory probably will skip that before slapping that XPEL on...

This was my question and I don't fully understand the answer. He's saying some folks have confirmed R1Ss - I thought 8 steps only open up once your vehicle is built ... I think he's trying to say "widespread" ADV R1S production will occur in early 2023.

Based on my convo with customer service - they confirmed that this isn't a rumor. ADV trim R1Ss are rolling down the line now.
