I would definitely avoid using the Panel Removal option. I removed mine for the install of the Running boards and can confirm those clips are begging to break if you have to remove them a few times. Not to mention the process of crawling under to do it is a PITA. 100% get the pucks.

that one with the grommet looks nice. My reference to cleaner was for those with just the open 4" hole.

We received our R1S running boards (not sliders) and the quality looks great... I am installing early next week and will provide an update on the fit and install process... They look very solid and seem to be worth the wait

I think the OBD port shuts off once the car goes to sleep (a few min after getting out). Correct me if I am wrong.

Sounds like the charging starting in the console is an issue. As most report that charging externally with USB C works. I may try to reach into the cavity with a tester to see if there is power to the contacts.

Happy to test this out also.. coming from a Tesla I miss some of the cool apps.

After reading the helpful comments above, I was able to charge it externally until I got a Green Light (confirming full charge). Now it is back in the car and we will see if it charges there after we use it in the future.
