Yes, it is possible. I have heard that it happens when charging above 200 kW. Which would normally only happen when you at a low state of charge connected to a 250 kW station. This makes sense because the underlying issue would most likely be some kind of thermal limit.
I'm no oracle, but I suspect you may be waiting for a while. My guess is that Tesla isn't going to be converting existing Superchargers to have CCS access. They will instead be building new Superchargers with CCS and Tesla connectors on them when and if they receive government subsidies to do...
Yeah, and unfortunately these are the brand new EA chargers that are having these problems. It is affecting not only Rivians. Somehow the idiotic EA chargers are sending MORE power to the vehicle than the vehicle is requesting, and at some point, protection circuitry shuts it all down...
I wonder if they fixed the problems this YouTuber has seen with the new stations. Queued to start when he talks of the overcharging problem that can brick Rivians
Well sometimes you can hear a cooling fan, like probably when supercharging. But the sound you can hear from outside the vehicle when it backs up is totally an annoying low speed sound thing. IMHO, it sounds like an ICE car.
Lane assist is off. The Vehicle just doesn’t track a straight line very well. It is my wife’s car so I’ll have to jump in it and see if it pulls right.
Ever since I got my R1S a few weeks ago, it will ping pong or wander in its lane when driving on the freeway. I have 20” AT tires. Steering wheel isn’t dead center either. Would an alignment fix the wandering problem?
Gawd I hate ads. Right underneath the first post of this thread was an ad for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I played the ad, not realizing it was an ad. And then I read the comments saying how tiny the Avenger was. WTF? Then I found the real Avenger video, and realized that I watched a Cherokee...
Well, you do ride higher, but not too high. It is actually a lot lower than another full size SUV, like the Infinit QX80 or Nissan Pathfinder. It is also a very tight ride. Feels smaller than other full sized SUVs.
Yeah, not using similar tires is pretty stupid if you’re worried about tenths of a second here and there, but as I said, it makes no practical difference.
As far as Model X range, it used to be that Tesla ranges were optimistic, but the latest Model X has very decent range. Again, the two...
