In my opinion, the Wrangler Rivian specific ATs are comparable in noise to the Pirelli 21s, which to me means virtually silent. I sometimes forget I have ATs on instead of street tires. And they have been good enough to go over Hagerman Pass in Colorado, which isn't the hardest trail, but plenty...
I don't understand why the Circle K chargers are not populated in the native app. They have been the most reliable and easy to find for me in Southern Colorado, and have usually been in really scenic locations (I-25 and highway 165, as one great example).
Penn, mine is a June 2023 R1S. I keep it outside all day, every day, from -15 F to 102 F, in rain or snow or shine. I have had no leaking issues, and in fact, other than a self-caused bent tie rod on the front right, I have had virtually no problems at all. Take it with a grain of salt, however...
I really liked the look of the lighter interior when I configured my Gen 1 Quad, but then there was that long delay in getting that interior, so switched to the dark wood. I wonder if that happened to a lot of people, and if that skewed the statistics on appearance of desireability. To this day...
Who did you go with for the extended warranty? and would you be willing to state the costs? I don't think I will be done with my quad when the warranties start to expire.
Every time I read one of these posts, I am more and more thankful that I live near the Denver Service Center. They are responsive, communicative, and quick to help. I am sorry that not all service centers have been created equally. Good luck in whichever direction you go next with your vehicle.
I'd love to find the answer to this question, as well. There is a nice Circle K Level III charger on I-25 south of Pueblo that I use but it is not on the Rivian map so the battery is never pre-conditioned when I get there. Being able to add it would speed things up, I think.
My 21" Pirellis did the same. Rotated every 3-5k for 20k miles, but the wear on the front right was always much greater than anywhere else at each rotation. It was really apparent at the end, with that front right tire bald as can be and the back two still pretty good. I was reluctant to take it...
Absolutely do not try I-70 on the weekends through Colorado, unless you want to waste an extra 6 hours at 5 miles per hour. It is essentially a parking lot. Definitely go the southern route, unless you are bringing your skis along, of course. Also, once you get to Pueblo, there is a level 3...
I can tell you that there is a really nice level III charger at the Colorado City exit on I-25 north (Circle K) that will not show up on your native app. It is about 21 miles south of Pueblo and has a great view of the Wet Mountain Range.
I'll add a photo of it in just a bit.
Not legal advice from me, but I would strongly consider taking this down. While it is likely not Rivian's fault, there may be substantial fault on the part of the merging truck. Any attorney worth their salt representing that driver will immediately find your statements and try to absolve the...
I went with Atomic Wheels A10s 20" plus Blizzaks. AW sometimes puts out a good sale price, so I think mine were somewhere around $2100-$2300 (right now $615 per), plus 4x400 for the tires.
Can you get your blue tooth speaker/drawer out without moving the tray? I really like the center insert I have, but you make a good argument about the adapter holder, and I have to move mine to get the speaker out.
I had that problem in my Gen 1 R1S, but I subsequently replaced the whole charging pad with an aftermarket pad and drawer (the pad has two MagLock chargers built in) and that is not an issue now. I assume the problem was that the original pad just allowed the phone to slide off the charging...
