Exactly - in Lordstown’s Endurance the motors are referred to as unsprung mass; i.e. the motors are just dead weight attached to each wheel. In Rivian’s design they are supported by the vehicle’s shocks and suspension system. I know which design I prefer to drive.

I have the same concern about getting my grandkids out of there during breaks on long road trips. I’ll probably just carry a big bag of M&Ms to use as bait to lure them out.

I’m not, because: 1.) I like the size of the Rivian better. The F150 has grown too large. 2.) I’d rather support a new EV manufacturer. 3.) Top of the line Rivian is cheaper than comparable Lightning. 4.) I’m sick and tired of the dealership experience when buying and servicing a vehicle...
