I get not everyone is reading/watching Rivian content as much as others, so not surprised there is nothing new. Personally influencers are annoying 99% of the time, and helpful 1%. I tend to not watch their content because I just don't enjoy it.
Phone/Card issues I never really experienced in my 3 years of ownership but like most things it varies. Software quality I don't see as an issue. The tonneau cover I can't speak to as I have owned 2 R1S's over 3 years. I would buy my Rivian again, if that helps answer your question though ( I...
It makes total sense for Tesla to stop production of these vehicles as they haven't been significantly changed in years, and the competition is just too intense for this type of stagnation. With sales dropping globally for the brand they need to sure up as much profits as possible. I don't see...
Very curious about the steering wheel. Those controls seem nice but would have to see them in practice. MB made a steering wheel that had so many buttons is was unusable so change is not always a positive.
I would curious about the heat reflecting back to the glass and potentially causing an issue with the integrity on the glass and the seal over time. Interesting idea but I have concerns.
Sorry but that math doesn't work out. I would have have to be paying 2300 a month which I definitely am not.
I got my gen1 at the original cost and came out with massive equity in it on the trade in. Happy with it as the Gen2 is fantastic and the finances workout great for me.
As I traded in my Gen1 R1S after a little more than 2 years to get a Gen2 but this time a lease, I have 2 more years with it. Would love to get another R1S or maybe an R2 depending on what life has in store for me.
Loaner is a luxury and yes we are paying luxury prices. Having said that giving you any vehicle is a bonus, if you require a large SUV/Truck then you should request it when you make your appointment. With R1's being traded in for Gen2 and soon Gen3 and the R2 we will see more loaners like that.
I handwashing as long as it is 50 degrees or higher. Unfortunately we have had some really cold crappy weeks so auto wash it is. I lease but enjoy washing my vehicles.
For everyone person that defends regardless of the issue there is a person who complains no matter what. I believe in Rivian and have dealt with my a few issues but some of the complaints are just pathetic but some are valid.
With the lowest price for a Rivian right now being 76k, yes that is a rich persons vehicle. While it is all relative the average American car is around 48k. When the R2 comes out that will change because its price point will be much closer to the average, at least on the low end R2s...
Funny we have 2 EVs and our insurance dropped this year by hundreds of dollars. While in the beginning my Rivian took longer to service that isn't the case anymore, and it never was for my BMW.
Shows how stupid people really are. The EV tax credit didn't apply to vehicles over 80k. Was Rivian playing games with giving people 7500 off somehow, sure but it was not available for the tax credit, that is why Gen1 buyers were pissed when the list price went up, they lost the tax credit...
