Things happen I get it but as a passenger I haven't had issues with getting into the R1. Plenty of people can 't get into a 911, too low to the ground. Should they make a suspension that raises the vehicle so they can get in it? If the grab handles are deal breaker then look elsewhere. Some...
Chase may have been giving the Leased Rivian's back to Rivan directly but that might not be the case anymore. There are many outlets to sell vehicles to get top dollar, they may just be doing that. Rivian may also take it as a service loaner since they already got great value out of it.

It's about to get even worse as people will drive to the places with the cheapest gas. Thrilled to have jumped with both feet into EVs 3 years ago. The impact of this will be last for more than just a few months.
This new release should be amazing and will give people plenty to think about when it comes to the competition.
As an I4 owner for 3 years I can't wait to see when the new one is released, might be an upgrade worth getting.
The range number is just a single factor. Where do you charge most often? What is your driving style? How often do you do road trips? Where do you do your road trips?
Our I4m50 has low range, lucky to get 200 miles but we have taken it on trips throughout the northeast with no problems...
It’s just more of an example that we need to reduce our dependence on oil period. It should be for things we can't replace right now like fueling planes and several other things. No reason we aren’t running at EVs as a country except the fact these POS take so much money from our tax...
Gen1 for 2 years then a Gen2 for the last year, never had a 12V issue. I get it there are problems but would be curious how wide spread they really are.
After 3 years of ownership I don't really have many complaints. The issues I have had were really specific and Rivian addressed them perfectly.
Tire damage: Sure it happens to any vehicle. I have the patch liquid in the trunk that Rivian provided so I can get home and get the tire replaced...
I was in the camp of 'no I like to drive my vehicle' until I began using it regularly. There are times I don't because I want to DRIVE, but then there are plenty of times I am just sitting on a highway at 80mph in 1 lane for 20-30 minutes, perfect situation for that. The times I have used it...
I normally charge when I am in the 30s then up to 85. Unless of course I will need the range the next day for a trip. I used to charge whenever but now it is mostly overnight.
Like most things not everyone is happy with their experience. I had the 12V drained by a faulty charge door motor, rivian covered all the costs to tow it, rental car, 12 replacement and the motor for the charge port door. After 3 years love my vehicle would buy it again and again.
