If I set the interior temp in any of our EVs to 75 deg F, I would expect to pay for it. Using battery for heat is how they work and you guys all seem to know it, so I sort of wonder why the OP is so surprised. I am with those of you who suggest dropping that temp setting to 70 or so.

Here is a data point for a dual motor on 21s. Obv it will be a bit lower at high speeds but so far the real world high speed penalty has not been too bad.

Thanks, this is my 3rd EV. I am not new to them. This includes a lot of highway driving, but mostly in the mountains at 60-70. I have only done about 10% on the freeway at 80. Also, this was since late September so definitely mild weather.
