I’m trying to trade up to a Gen 2 R1T Tri-motor.
First, let me say that although I have commented negatively on Rivian service in the past, I have recently had a positive experience at the new SC in Blauvelt, NJ. Positive enough to give me the confidence to purchase a new R1T.

Agreed. I have a Gen 1 R1T with all of the outlets and am considering a Gen 2. I use the 12v outlet with an adapter to power my phone when cradled on the instrument panel.
I’ve had my R1T for 2.5 years and have 52k on the clock. I live in upstate NY. Service has been sooo PAINFUL that I am going to scuttle my plan to get a Gen 2. Like the original poster, the R1T is the perfect truck for me and it makes me sad not to be able to have one as my next vehicle.

I need tires ASAP; I need to pull the trigger this week or next. I have 30k on my second set of Pirelli ATs and they are past due. I am trying to decide between the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 or the Goodyears. I live on a dirt/gravel road, but don’t really need an off-road tire. I do need...
