I could see that in areas where there isn’t a high EV market penetration but otherwise no.
I’m happy to report I regularly get a Rivian wave around Boulder. It’s almost as common as me getting a Jeep Wave.
Is Ford even selling the Flash yet? I found the 2024 configurator and I don’t see any mention of it. IMO it is a much sweeter proposition for buyers than the XLT or Lariat. The heat pump should be a great performance boost in cold weather.
I’m guessing they held it back a bit while they try to...
I like that pad cover but I've found that a simply heated blanket works really well. I've got the iKamper SkyCamp Mini 2.0 but my wife and I elected to get the internal insulating tent that is optionally available. It does a fairly decent job. We camp in the mountains and it get pretty cold...
The R2 is essential to Rivian's strategy. That's why they're going to start building it in Normal and not Georgia. If the R2 is cancelled, it's because Rivian is filing for bankruptcy.
You won’t want to do this on the first camping trip, but a Roof Top Tent is huge on comfort and that sense of security. I’ve got an electric blanket I can plug into my truck if it gets too cold. I put that over my air mattress and have a couple other blankets we sleep under.
On the popcorn...
I didn't even know there was a Target there. I guess because it was hidden behind a row of trees.
My experience, in general, has been that Chargepoint is pretty reliable. Maybe not Tesla reliable but reliable enough. Thanks for the heads up.
EDIT: BTW, I just looked and those chargers do show...
Oh really, I thought they had chargers in Silverthorne. I guess those are not available for cars with adapters,,, yet. On the bright side, there appear to be a set of Superchargers going up in Copper Mountain.
So I went down to Leadville yesterday. I tried to charge at EA in Frisco but they lived up to their reputation. Two dead chargers and two occupied. Fortunately I didn’t have any issues making it to Georgetown. All four ChargePoint chargers were up and working.
Can I have my CCS to NACS adapter...
I saw this advertised on Facebook today.

I’m just curious if anyone else has tried this. I like that it has a solid floor for you dogs but they don’t show any dimensions. It just says it’ll fit any vehicle, which is BS. If it fits in my Rivian, it’s...
I’ve gotta check that out. Cheyenne has a Menards, which alone is a reason to drive up there. My wife also found several good antique shops. But an actual mall, now that a Gen X magnet. ?
I’m heading to Leadville this morning. More antiquing for my wife. I’m hoping to spot some hand planes.
