No kiddinā. Though my guide does respond to my inquiries, I pretty much have to give him a few days or a week.
Tthe guys at the service center know exactly who he is. Iām guessing theyāve had complaints.
Before my purchase, I had a different guide. She was spot on perfect but supposedly got...
@twizzstyle can you tell me what foam sheets you used and how many layers you needed?
Also, another recommendation for a bottle jack is the one from SafeJack. Their 6ton starter kit is plenty tall. You can also buy a steel base plate as well. I've got one for my lifted Jeep and it's plenty...
Hey fellas, just checkinā in after enjoying my new/used R1T over the weekend. Just wanted to say that I saw a miracle over the weekend. I went to a traditional dealer that didnāt suck monkey nuts. That would be Christopherās Ram/Dodge in Golden.
This R1T will be the 50th vehicle Iāve bought...
Hi Mark,
When using that Big Red jack in this pic, did you have your Rivian in the highest suspension setting? I havenāt actually tried jacking it yet but it doesnāt seem to go high enough when the Rivian is raised all the way as prescribed in the owners manual.
Just a comparison next to a...
Yea, Safejacks is pretty much the end all be all of bottle jacks. Iāve got one for my lifted Wrangler. The basic 6ton jack comes with extensions to make it lift higher. Here it is next to the 10ton big red jack.
In this pic, my R1T is at the max height setting. With the extension and puck...
Check this thread out: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/the-first-and-only-aero-spoke-inserts-for-rivian-r1t-r1s-20-all-terrain-wheels.13457/
Seems to have some mixed results.
Yea, Iām going to get that done. I was thinking of going to Mount McClellan today but pinstriping is a bitch on that trail. So, until I get PPF done, Iāll avoid trails with pinstriping. Hence, the reason Iām going to Mount Herman today. Itās a super easy trail with no pinstriping risk.
Got it home, charged, updated, spare tire installed, Gary in his proper place, and floor mats I got in the day after the accident have finally got a floor to protect.
Wife and I are going to Mount Herman trail in Monument tomorrow. My wife is into foraging mushrooms and such and thatāsa good...
Yup. Just got home. Sheās garaged, charging, and getting the latest update.
Only real downside is the broken tonneau.
Iām off to return my PoS rental the the most ghetto big rental car company (Enterprise).
Yea, it sucks but Iām countering it a bit by making a larger down payment. The bank gave me ~$35000 so Iām putting $40k down. The payment will be significantly less overall.
Yea, Iām wondering if I should summarize my experience in this thread or a new one.
Anyways, this R1T doesnāt have a spare or cargo bars. Itās also missing the wrist band key. The dealer is contacting the former owner to look into that. Fortunately, I did get my spare tire from the old Rivian...
Do the buttons on the fob work? change the battery if your key fob isnāt working. That fob eats batteries MUCH faster than a normal one does. I kept spares in my truck.
