Iām with you on this.
I do see something like FSD being viable in the future but I would never put my family at risk by using a Beta product that should probably be an Alpha.
One day, when Iām a lot older, Iām hoping we have true Level 4 or 5 automation. That kind of tech is going to allow...
OK, Done deal..
Original ACV: = $72,535.00 ? This was the what Nationwideās assessment service (CCC) had quoted as the value of my truck. I ended up sending in a pic of my window sticker to get it resolved. Below are the new numbers..
Original MSRP: = $79,000.00
110% of MSRP: = $86,900.00

Itās unfortunately a very common issue. Call support and they will replace it.
I tried repairing mine with 3M automotive tape, but it came back up within a week
Hold the phone. Nationwide is working the numbers based on my windows sticker. I donāt want to jinx it so Iāll wait until itās official before I share the preliminary numbers I got. When itās all done, Iāll share a complete breakdown of the numbers.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Seriously, that looks terrible. A sea of vinyl. It would have been much better with some sort of fabric material. Itās just too much of the same thing.
well the appraisal is too low IMO. They based it on a price of $74000. My truck was 79000. So Iām going to at least push them to move that up.
They really should stop calling it āNew Car Replacementā coverage. Should be, ehhh well give you a few more bucks coverage.
Anyways, looks like Iāll be...
Yea, I actually reached out to insurance support back on Friday. Their initial response was pretty fast. I got a call within an hour. Since then, nothing. I've been trying to contact both Nationwide and Rivian I've just met radio silence. So I'm just a little concerned.
I just barely squeezed by last year (though it really didn't apply on the old tax credit). I'd be under it for sure this year. It's been a soft year in sales. Mostly because last year was bonkers.
It's a unicorn.
It has me wondering how Rivian will counter (if they do at all). Will the announce R1T price cuts or will the push harder on selling the dual motor. The dual motor is certainly price competitive with the Lightning Lariat extended range.
The question I have is whether or not Rivian is forced to follow them with a price cut on the R1T. Though I suppose that wonāt be the case as the dual motor variants come online. I guess the real pressure will be to get the dual motorās out the door as quickly as possible.
Ford just announced some massive price cuts on the Lightning as well.
On the Model X and S. IMO the sales decline is simply because they are very old designs. Iām not sure about this but the S might be the oldest sedan design on US roads after the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger are finally put...
