If I ever get my pickup back (or get a new one) I’m going to be all over this.
Really, I like the bed extender that Ford has for the F150. It can fold away pretty neatly on the sides of the bed.
That “no grit” statement is the truth. I’m guessing I notice it more because I’m an Army Vet and come from a very poor family. Too often I’m seeing folks just throw their hands up and quit at something that gives them the slightest bit of adversity.
I didn’t experience all the issues the OP had but I think every single point and suggestion is pretty spot on. This is a great truck but these improvements would make it outstanding. I’d add a few things to the R1.2..
1. Bring back the Explorer trim level. As mentioned by others, the air...
It’s unfortunate that my R1T hasn’t been declared totaled yet. I would be fine with flying out to St Louis and driving to Normal to pick out a replacement truck.
This new credit is making a damn good argument that my next truck should be an R1T Dual Motor. The only problem, for me, is that I would have to skip the off road package to fit it under the $80K cutoff.
I will gladly accept an NACS to CCS adapter if it means I can use Tesla’s charging network. I just want the reliability that just isn’t there on EA/Chargepoint/EVGO networks.
That is not a monopoly.
That is a new company that is still building out their service network. You knew this before you bought your truck. There is competition out there, in the form of other OEMs, and you chose to not use them. Even Tesla didn’t have independent service depts for a fairly...
I really never expected GM to do this. Now that it has, CCS is dead man walking in the US. Once a 2nd major charging provider adopts it, it’ll be all over.
I think that shows how out of date the rules are. IMO they need to have rules for primary and secondary tail lights. Primary lights would be the same as current rules in that they must be visible at all times. Secondary would be lights like those on the tailgate that can be used as brake lights...
The insurance update:
1. Finally getting a rental car tomorrow (4 days after filing a claim)
2. Finally got an adjuster assigned. He claims he’ll have his inspection done by the end of the week.
3. Truck has been transported to a Rivian certified collision center (Jewell Collision in Denver)
4...
