Some pics from the collision shop. I was contacted by the Rivian/Nationwide assessor today. He said he isn’t quite done with the write up on this but he believes the truck will be declared a total loss. He’ll then hand my case over to a loss adjustor who will help me with my new car replacement...

Just got an estimate back for $53200 of damage but the collision center told they assessor that they expect a 'large supplemental' claim will be submitted as well. Edit: I'll share more details and pics after I've gotten my settlement.

Never once had a bad experience with National. Even Avis is pretty good at most airport locations. Just never use them in St Louis.

It's something I'm considering. There are many options I'm considering. Of course the big one is to get another R1T but that will depend on how this insurance thing sorts itself out.

I do think Rivian is hurting themselves with these prices but I don’t think they really have any other choice. They need positive cash flow and they needed it yesterday. The dual motor and LFP batteries will help. It’ll get your pricing down to $73K for an R1T and $78K for an R1S. What hurts...
