According to the website, you have to get a separate power control module to make this work but it doesn’t provide any info on what exactly this module is or where to buy it.
Of course I make the statement above about repairs and then I read this.

Here’s a snippet of the article.
It kinda depends on how my car replacement coverage works. This truck saved my family so I’m inclined to get another. Rivian is also much faster at getting trucks delivered. At this point it’s faster to get an R1T than a Taco or just about any other new truck other than a Gladiator. The trucks...
Some pics from the collision shop.
I was contacted by the Rivian/Nationwide assessor today. He said he isn’t quite done with the write up on this but he believes the truck will be declared a total loss. He’ll then hand my case over to a loss adjustor who will help me with my new car replacement...

I do think Rivian is hurting themselves with these prices but I don’t think they really have any other choice. They need positive cash flow and they needed it yesterday. The dual motor and LFP batteries will help. It’ll get your pricing down to $73K for an R1T and $78K for an R1S. What hurts...
I’m a bit concerned about my truck at this point. I think Jewell Collision was in the path of a good part of that hail. I’ve sent them a couple emails just to check the status on my truck and they went radio silent. They didn’t even reply to inquiries from the insurance company.
I can tell from...
Very Minor update.
Now three weeks removed from the accident and my truck still hasn't been inspected by the collision center. The insurance company only said it would get done s00n. I guess we all know how that goes. No doubt they collision center is very busy. Just with they could communicate...
