The largest E-Transit has barely more cargo volume than the EDV-500 (and that includes the passenger seat area). You can get the Transit in much smaller sizes. Also, there is the Transit Connect that is MUCH smaller.
I'm not criticizing Rivian here. I'm pretty sure Amazon had a large input...
Ford has been doing delivery vans for almost a century. Farley isn't totally off base. The thing here is that Amazon didn't just commit to buying vans but became a major investor. Rivian has recently seen that the 10000 van committment has some downsides so they're looking to renegotiate the...
So far, I can't say that Nationwide/RIvian insurance has done that great. I put the claim in on Saturday and they assigned it to an agent. I spent all day trying to reach that agent so I can setup a rental car but I haven't been successful at all.
Meanwhile, the collision center says they'll...
It looks like Navy FCU is up about 1.5% over the rate I got. I'm planning to mitigate that by paying down the principal on the replacement vehicle. I got $11K in tax credits from my current R1T sitting in savings. I was looking to apply that to my current truck but now it'll go to the replacement.
I'll have to check. CO changed the credit. I heard there was an $80K cutoff but the devil is in those details. I'm not going to count on it but it'll be a pleasant surprise if I get some credit back.
I'm pretty sure I won't leave the iKamper behind.. :CWL:
No kiddin' on that spare. Even if...
We were hit in the rear so no on the airbags question. The truck kept throwing errors like the gear tunnel was open (it was closed) and wouldn’t drive more than a slow pace. After seeing the potential frame damage I decided it wasn’t safe to drive it on a highway that was as incredibly busy as...
It’s over $80K and won’t qualify for the federal tax credit. I think Colorado’s new tax credit has the same limit.
BUT, on the good news side of things, Gary is doing great!
I’m fairly certain it’ll be a new loan. Navy FCU has increased their rates by 1.5% since i purchased my truck. I do have a plan for that though. I’ve got my $11K tax credit from my previous R1T. I should be able to roll positive equity from my truck and that tax credit into the new truck. That...
This gives me hope that I can get back into an R1T…
If not, I’ll probably be going back to an ICE vehicle. I may try to get a F150 Raptor or go down to one car for a while and wait for the new Taco.
Can anyone tell me if these R1Ts are appearing? I’m probably getting a replacement s00n.
Rivian Blue or Launch Green
All Terrain upgrade
Quad Motor with Large battery
I see the power tonneau still isn’t available so I may be screwed in that dept.
Thanks but I’m good to go in the Matchbox dept. ;)
Hopefully I’ll be making OZO runs again soon. For now I’ll have to do it my wife’s monster jeep.
I do dig the new Raptor but all these Ford dealers have over $10K in markkups. So hard no on that. Also, with regular gas still being around...
