The title of this thread is wrong, and clickbait.
The cost is $495, not $400, and it is for the tub, which is much smaller since the heat pump was added last year. Near useless.
As for ridiculous costs, Rivian charges $2,500 for many paint options. The Ford Mach-E cost for a metallic paint...
I believe all the level 2 chargers that Shell Recharge had got turned off recently across the country, they're only going to have fast chargers.
The best way to find a fast charger is PlugShare, not looking for big cabinets.
That would be fine, except the Rivian accelerator requires much more pressure, and to hold it. As we were driving during the demo, my wife mentioned this, and the guide's response was "that's why I use cruise control while driving it because my car is a gas vehicle."
Both of us noticed it...
I have no desire to figure it out. Tried it, don't like it. Wife tried it, doesn't like it. With our vehicles, since there is zero difference in regen using it or not using it, we choose not to.
Drove an R1S on Saturday, didn't like 1 pedal. So, added it to the Gen 3 wishlist as we might...
Your electricity cost is wacked. I know some parts of CA are wacked (as far as electricity costs, not a political commentary), but most people in the US pay under 20 cents per kWh.
But your analysis is FUBAR. A Ford Escape is not even AWD, isn't an SUV, can't seat the same number of people...
You want to use PlugShare, with Hide Tesla Only Locations turned on. Columbus has more than its fair share of DC fast chargers. And they have a lot of level 2 chargers.
If on doesn't have charging available at work or home, you need to rethink owning an EV. Sitting at a charger even once a...
The main difference between this trim and other trims is the use of Elmer's School Glue to put the panels on, versus Gorilla Glue used in the other trims. There is an internal placard advising the owner to avoid car washes, and rainy days.
Or, I'm just pissed off about it so I give up.
Non-techy people just shutdown on some things. My wife the other day was doing something, and I said "do you know you can do that in 1/2 that time this way?" and she said "I know this way, I don't know that way, so leave me alone".
Here's the problem with looking at data - it's slanted by how it's designed.
How many people would do function A if it was a button, or on the home screen, vs. buried? Did you do an A/B test? If not, you're influencing them doing it by where you place it. "I'm not looking for that damn ____...
It's 85%, and it's not many locations, unless you live in California... https://www.electrifyamerica.com/soc-pilot/
The congestion at Electrify America or EVgo locations is solely due to the greedy as F morons running these companies, that negotiated for years of free charging with car...
Sure. Everyday pulling into my garage. Fold as I approach the door, unfold after the mirror is inside.
Every vehicle I have owned has had a mirror folding button on the driver's door.
I have used hotel chargers many times. I evaluate the charger ahead of time, and arrive with a SOC% so that assuming the charger is available, I will be at 100% at my 8AM departure time. PlugShare allows me to know the charge rate ahead of time.
I would not plug in if I knew I would be...
I have a shared circuit, with two formerly JuiceBox 48amp chargers on it (not really what you're getting at). JB had load balancing, before they abandoned the US market and screwed all their customers. I replaced the boards with OpenEVSE, and have each set at 24amps right now, until they...
