There might be some misunderstanding then. You can only option a Performance Dual Motor with the large pack. I wasn't aware that PDM was gated behind anything smaller than a large battery.

I had the very same question. I bought a cable guard that you slip over the cable so the weight of the garage door sits on it instead of only the cable. Just make sure you look for a thicker rubber one instead of a 3D printed one that could be damaged due to bad weather.
